Dendrobium is a beautiful ornamental plant. It is as famous as Phalaenopsis, Vanda and Cattleya in the flower world, and they are listed as the four major tropical ornamental orchids. Dendrobium not only has a beautiful appearance, but it is also a Chinese medicinal material and a natural health product. Many people usually plan to cultivate Dendrobium, but they just don't know how to cultivate it. Next, I will introduce some knowledge related to Dendrobium cultivation.

1. Soil

The choice of soil is very important for breeding guardrails. This plant likes soil with good drainage and good air permeability. It is best to use broken fern roots, water platforms, charcoal chips, broken tiles and other materials to prepare nutrient soil for it. In addition, you can add an appropriate amount of perlite during the preparation, and finally put in appropriate Dendrobium special fertilizer.

2. Lighting

When cultivating Dendrobium, you must know that this plant is an ornamental plant that likes semi-shady environment. In nature, it mostly grows on tree trunks or rocks in tropical rain forests. If you make it into a potted plant, you must provide it with a suitable environment and carry out appropriate shading. In summer and spring, 60~70% of the light should be shaded. After entering winter, the pool fence needs more sufficient sunlight, and the shading rate can be reduced to about 20%.

3. Temperature

Temperature is one of the important conditions for growing Dendrobium. Dendrobium is a plant that likes warm and humid environment. During the breeding period, we must pay attention to the control of the breeding environment temperature. It should be placed in a warm environment above 20 degrees. Moreover, during the breeding period, we must pay attention to the temperature difference between day and night. It should not exceed 15 degrees. If the temperature difference between day and night is too large, it will affect the growth of Dendrobium, and in severe cases it will cause it to die.

4. Water moderately

Dendrobium is a plant that likes a humid environment. It must be provided with a humid environment during the cultivation period, but this plant is afraid of water accumulation, so watering must be reasonable during the cultivation period, and water accumulation cannot be allowed in the flowerpot. After entering winter, the stone guardrail consumes less water, which can keep its soil appropriately dry and reduce the number of watering, which is conducive to its safe wintering.
