How to make homemade soybeans

Ingredients for homemade soybeans

When making your own bean curd at home, you can prepare a Coca-Cola bottle, an opaque cloth, 200 grams of mung beans, and an appropriate amount of water.

Specific steps for making homemade soybeans

1. Remove the conical part of the prepared Coke bottle, and then poke a few holes in the bottom for later use.

2. Put the prepared mung beans in a basin and pour in boiling water at about 80 degrees to blanch the seeds. Stir constantly while blanching. After cooling down, soak them for a day. After taking them out, put them directly into the Coke bottle.

3. After putting the mung beans into the Coke bottle, wrap the bottle with an opaque cloth and place it in a warm and bright place to let the mung beans grow on their own. However, you must remember not to expose the bottle to light, otherwise the grown bean sprouts will turn red and affect the taste.

4. After putting the mung beans into the bottle, water the beans three times a day, morning, noon and evening. The water needs to flow out of the small holes at the bottom of the bottle and cannot stay inside the bottle. Repeat this for about a week, then you can open the opaque cloth. You will find that the bean sprouts inside have grown to about six centimeters. When you want to eat them, you can take them out and stir-fry them directly.
