The agricultural administration also guides the industry to produce high-quality preserved eggs, so that the lead content shall not exceed 0.3ppm and the copper content shall not exceed 5ppm. Therefore, the pickling liquid of qualified manufacturers does not contain heavy metals, or the content is very small.

This is because iron phosphate is added during the processing. Therefore, compared with ordinary preserved eggs, only the iron content is higher, and the other nutritional components are the same.
