1. Ingredients for Pumpkin Cake

To make pumpkin cake, you need 50g milk, 110g unsalted butter, 240g pumpkin puree, 120g egg yolk, 120g low-gluten flour, 5g baking powder, 240g egg white, 15g honey, 135g sugar, and 3g tartar powder. To make the filling, you need 75g milk, 50g sugar, egg yolk, pumpkin puree, cheese, 75g whipped cream each, and a small amount of corn flour.

2. How to make pumpkin cake

Step 1: Melt the unsalted butter first, add pumpkin puree, milk, egg yolk, honey, low-gluten flour and baking powder, and mix thoroughly to form pumpkin flour paste.

Step 2: Mix egg whites, sugar and tartar powder until dry, and add them to the pumpkin flour paste. This is the main ingredient for the cake.

Step 3: Pour the cake into the baking pan and bake at 170 degrees for 20 minutes, then take out the cake and let it cool.

Step 4: Mix the remaining egg yolks, sugar, corn flour and milk thoroughly, heat them in water and beat them into a white paste.

Step 5: Soften the cheese and stir it into the white paste. Then add the pumpkin puree after it cools down.

Step 6: After it has cooled completely, add the whipped cream to make the filling.

Step 7: Put the cake into the mold, add the filling, then put another layer of cake in, and bake for 20 minutes.
